A building spends half of its life in the dark. Facade lighting decides how it looks to everyone who passes by at night, and it is often the first thing people remember. Synoda Lighting designs facade lighting in Noida, Greater Noida and across Delhi NCR for villas, commercial buildings and residential towers.
Our work is led by Neha Bora, a lighting consultant with more than ten years of experience in lighting design, project execution and training, a B.Tech degree and KNX certification. We plan each elevation as a whole, so the light supports the architecture instead of fighting it.

Each building asks for a different treatment. These are the main techniques we combine to light a facade.
Light placed close to a wall brings out stone, texture and jaali patterns. Washing gives an even glow on plain surfaces.
Slim LED lines along edges, rooflines and canopies draw the shape of the building and are visible from a distance.
Narrow beams on columns, arches and entrance portals add depth and guide people to the main door.
Warm white suits most buildings. Colour changing light can work for commercial towers where the look needs to change with events.
Gentle light on paths, trees and boundary walls makes the whole property feel complete and safe after dark.
Low level wall lights and soft uplights keep outdoor seating comfortable without glare for guests or neighbours.
Facade lighting works in sun, rain and dust, so the fixtures must be rated for outdoor use and placed where they can be reached for cleaning and replacement. We specify weather rated LED fixtures and plan access from the start.
We also control glare and light spill so the lighting does not disturb neighbours or traffic, and we use timers and dimming so the building is lit only when it matters. Planning this early, before the cladding and conduits are fixed, keeps the cabling hidden and the cost low.

Yes. We survey the building, suggest surface mounted or ground mounted fixtures and plan neat cable routes so the facade can be lit without major changes.
Modern LED fixtures use little power, and timers and dimming reduce the use further. We plan the lighting to be effective with as few fixtures as possible.
